100 MW Solar Power Plant, Raghanesda Solar Park, Dist. Banaskantha, Gujarat

The 100 MW Solar Power Plant is set up in the 700 MW Raghanesda Solar Park, Dist. Banaskantha, Gujarat. Tata Power Solar Systems Ltd. executed the EPC works and is also the O&M Contractor for this Plant. This Project was won by GIPCL in the competitive auction conducted by GUNVL in the year 2019. Power off take is tied up by a 25-year PPA with GUVNL. It was commissioned in August,2021 and it is connected to the Inter-State Transmission System.

75 MW Solar Power Plant, Gujarat Solar Park, Village Charanka, Dist. Patan, Gujarat

The 75 MW Solar Plant was commissioned in the Gujarat Solar Park, Village Charanka, Dist. Patan, Gujarat in June,2019. BHEL executed the EPC work and post commissioning taking care of O&M of this Plant. This Project was won by GIPCL in the competitive auction conducted by GUVNL. This Power Plant is connected to GETCO’s 220 kV Charanka Sub-station and energy offtake is governed by a 25-year PPA with GUVNL.

80 MW (2 x 40 MW) Solar Power Plant, Gujarat Solar Park, Village Charanka, Dist. Patan, Gujarat

The 80 MW (2 x 40 MW) Solar Power Plant is set up in the Gujarat Solar Park, Village Charanka, Dist. Patan, Gujarat. It was commissioned in September,2017. The Project was won in the Competitive Auction conducted by Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI). Vikram Solar Ltd. executed the EPC work and O&M is managed by GIPCL through O&M Contractor. Power is evacuated to the State Grid through the 220kV GETCO Charanka Sub-station and energy offtake is governed by a 25-year PPA with SECI.

2 x 1 MW Distributed Agri-Solar Project, Village Amrol & Vastan, Gujarat

GIPCL was allotted the 2 X 1 MW Distributed Agri-Solar Power Plants as Pilot Projects by the Govt. of Gujarat. These 1 MW Solar Plants are located at Amrol Village, Anklav Taluka, Dist. Anand and Vastan Village, Mangrol Taluka, Surat District.

Farming is undertaken with the support of Agricultural Universities. The Projects were executed utilizing in-house expertise and O&M is also taken care of by the in-house team. Solar Power is directly injected into the 11 kV Rural distribution network of the Discom, thereby avoiding Transmission & Distribution losses. These pioneering Plants have won numerous awards at the National Level.

The Projects were commissioned in April-May, 2016 and Power off-take is tied up with the State Discoms by a 25-year PPA.

5 MW Solar Power Plant, Village Vastan, Dist. Surat, Gujarat

GIPCL forayed into Solar Power Generation with the commissioning of the 5 MW Power Plant in January, 2012. It is located on the Vastan Mine dump top, adjacent to the Surat Lignite Power Plant in Village Vastan, Taluka Mangrol, Dist. Surat, Gujarat . It was among the first lot of long-term PPA based Grid Connected Solar Projects approved by Govt. of Gujarat. This Power Plant is connected to GETCO’s 66 kV Mosali Sub-station and supplies power to GUVNL under a 25-year PPA. O&M of this Power Plant is taken care by the in-house team.
