GIPCL has been conferred with two prestigious Awards of Excellence 2011 by the Federation of Gujarat Industries (FGI), Vadodara, viz.
1. FGI Award for Excellence in the area of ‘Outstanding Contribution in the Field of ‘Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR)’ conferred to Gujarat Industries Power Company Limited (GIPCL).
2. FGI Award for Excellence in the area of ‘Rural Development by Individual, NGO or Institution’ conferred to DEEP - Development Efforts For Rural Economy And People, an NGO promoted by GIPCL. The award also carries a cash prize of Rs. 50,000/- (Rupees Fifty
Thousand).
